Many Sunshine Tour events, Challenge Matches and three South African Opens have been played at this stunning venue since it opened in 1937. Mr. Allison, an English golf course architect, designed this championship layout and construction was assigned to the South African professional golfer, Mr. A. F. Tomsett.
